15-18g of Coffee

200mL of water

  1. Grind 15-18g of coffee
  2. Pour into press
  3. Add twice the amount of water than grinds (i.e. 15g of coffee/30mL of Water)
  4. Tamp and set for 30 seconds
  5. Pour remainder of water (it should read 200mL)
  6. After 1 minute stir 10x
  7. Decant 
  8. Pour 2oz of water to make an even 8oz cup

800mL of water

Steep Time: 6 minutes 

  1. Wet Press to heat
  2. Grind 48g of coffee
  3. Pour out water
  4. Pour in coffee
  5. Saturate with 620mL of water
  6. Place on lid (do not depress)/ wait 2 minutes
  7. Stir Coffee
  8. Pour remaining 180mL(it reads 800)
  9. Skim oil/floating grounds
  10. Replace lid wait 4 minutes
  11. Depress and serve

Steep Time: 4.5-6 minutes

  1. Wet filter
  2. Grind 48g of coffee
  3. Pour out water 
  4. Pour coffee in filter
  5. Bloom coffee 50-70g
  6. Let sit for 30 seconds
  7. Pour until 1:30
  8. Let sit for 45 seconds
  9. Continual pour until 800mL is reached
  10. Let steep
